The Coleman FastPitch Event Shelter Pro XL is a high-quality outdoor shelter designed for camping, home, and garden use. If a tent has a hydrostatic head of 3000mm it means that a 3 metre column of water can be placed on its surface before any drops will show through the underside of the fabric.

The shelter has a water column of 1000mm, which means it can withstand light rainfall without leaking. As winter settles in, ensure your laundry stays fresh and dry with our innovative range of indoor drying products. Additionally, the shelter has a UV Guard feature that protects you and your guests from harmful UV rays. With advanced coating for a higher level of UV protection (UV50+), it is up to 5°c colder underneath the FastPitch™ Shelters. We recommend that Event Shelters should only be pitched and used on clear, crisp, dry sunny summer or spring days.
We understand this is frustrating, due to the nature of being online sadly it can happen with any retailer. Even when it was raining and we were sat in the centre, the wind couldn’t assist in getting us wet and we were quite comfortable under it whilst cooking and eating our tea. Granted the XL version of the Coleman Event Shelter we have is a little on the large side for your usual festival site camping (this was a quiet site with it being the first year) but for three families to use (to shelter from the sun or the rain) it was absolutely brilliant. UVGuard- SPF50 Sun and UV protection - the main benefit of the shelter is providing protection from the sun, and some shade.
This shelter is so easy to use, we will certainly be making use of it on many more camping trips and I also plan to make use of it in our garden at home. A range of removable sunwalls and doors for increased weather protection are also available for this shelter (sold separately). Not very light when disassembled, but the carry bag is well done and spacious enough so that it's easy to put everything back into it.
