This is the first Marvel movie with a black lead character [DC Comics Steel, a black hero, did get a movie a long time ago. Pushed to the limit and burdened with the fate of a nation, T’Challa must prevail by any means necessary or risk the lives of millions of Wakandans. But it does do it a little differently in that the central moral dilemmas that T'Challa faces are new territory for these movies, and as with all good moral dilemmas, they make the viewer think about what they would do in a similar situation. Directed by Ian Merrick, this intelligent crime drama charts the infamous killing spree which Donald Neilson, aka the Black Panther, perpetrated across England during the mid-70s, culminating in the kidnapping and death of a 17-year old girl.

It is a pity to see such a strong film with a justifiably huge box office take be tarnished by people who may have an 'agenda' of their own. all sorts of chaotic sound elements present but never draw the listener's attention away from the main-draw, on-screen action. the MCU, but it's a lot of fun in its exploration of one of the most interesting worlds and engaging characters on the Marvel roster.

that's true of any MCU movie (heck, any MOVIE for that matter), yet after seeing several reviews suggesting "this movie only got rave reviews because of the black cast", I have to wonder how widespread the alt-right campaign to knock down the film's Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB score actually was.
