LEGO Super Heroes: Thor Minifigure with Hammer

Next up we have Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye, one of the founding members of the Avengers and co-star of the Hawkeye TV series. He’s in his purple outfit here and features a new medium tan wig, first used for Olly from LEGO Friends. One of the Diseny+ projects I’m personally most excited about is X-Men ’97, a sequel series to the animated show that ran from 1992-1996. And my absolute favorite minifigures in this series are the three hailing from that show. Starting with Storm, aka Ororo Munroe, the weather controlling mutant and sometimes leader of the X-Men. Storm appears in her Jim Lee designed white costume. Other than the X-Symbols and the yellow striping, this look doesn’t require a lot of printing but, like Mr. Knight, the legs do contain some minor lines. The costume is topped off perfectly with pointed shoulder pads and Storm’s trademark cape designed to allow her to ride the wind currents that are under her control. Also slightly miffed they didn’t include a tile for the photo frame so we could re-create the Sad Wolverine meme! Moon Knight is LEGO Minifigures at its finest, and it’s not hyperbolic to call this one of the most detailed LEGO minifigures and something for fans to cherish. He’s absolutely going to be the chase minifigure in Marvel Series 2. Bill Foster does come with an Ant-Man statuette! The design of it is quite clever, as it functions both as Goliath being normal-sized and Ant-Man being tiny, or Goliath being supersized and Ant-Man being regular-sized.

The She-Hulk minifigure features highly detailed prints of her TV-show suit, and I really like what they’ve done with the leg printing. Marvel fans will love these 12 popular characters: Agatha Harkness, Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Mr. Knight, She-Hulk, The Werewolf, Goliath, Storm, Beast, Wolverine and Echo. Every mystery bag contains 1 minifigure with at least 1 accessory. Set contains 36 mystery bags.What do you think of the LEGO Marvel Series 2? I imagine she’ll be a fairly popular minifigure from this series. He comes with a pair of truncheons and a goldfish accessory, a nod to the first episode of Moon Knight which is titled The Goldfish Problem.I do like the colour scheme and futuristic design, which looks generic enough that you cvould repurpose it quite easily for a sci-fi or space MOC.

Mr. Knight’s appearance isn’t as impressive as Moon Knight’s but more than meets the brief and is a nice companion to the vastly superior Moon Knight. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great Wolverine minifigure, probably the best one that LEGO has ever produced. But with Wolverine recently making an appearance in a Mech Armour, it feels a bit like a wasted slot in a 12-character series, where more obscure characters that might not have the opportunity to show up in regular sets should have been given the time to shine.If only Echo had a better accessory, she’d easily be on par with Moon Knight in terms of quality. Fingers crossed her TV series isn’t terrible – if it’s well-received by fans, it’ll make this minifigure quite desirable. And here’s Logan’s face and hair as an alternative to the Wolverine mask. The sideburns are great and I also kinda dig the goggle look which whites out Wolverine’s eyes when he has his mask on. Kang might’ve been cut due to Jonathon Major’s legal troubles and his uncertain future with the MCU, but the character selection is by far the weakest here. Agatha is a great minifigure, and fans of Wandavision have been waiting a long time to get their hands on her, as she makes for a great companion to Marvel Series 1’s Scarlet Witch. Agatha Harkness is a great addition to be displayed with Scarlet Witch from Marvel Series 1. It’s been a long wait, but the minifigure is exactly what you’d like from an Agatha minifigure and as an added bonus, it also doubles up as a great witch minifigure that will come in handy for Halloween.

Joining Hawkeye is also Hawkeye, also known as Kate Bishop who is played by Hailee Steinfeld in the Disney+ series. It’s a superb minifigure and also one that fans of the MCU will welcome given the fairly positive reception to the series. The Baby Owl is a nice surprise and it’s great to see LEGO still using the Collectible LEGO Minifigures series to introduce new animal moulds.
