You can call it unheroic fantasy, scoundrel lit or grimdark – but I want to write a book that focuses on the seedier side of life rather than the shiny because, to me, it felt more honest. She also is the leader of the Silver Wolves; a group of discarded daughters who she nurtured and turned into a squad of elite soldiers. A calm, composed, women with an intimidating presence.
